Batman (1989)

It can’t be overstated how much of a pop culture phenomenon Tim Burton’s 1989 “Batman” movie was. People were losing their bat-obsessed mind. The skepticism of the Michael Keaton casting quickly fell off. Jack Nicholson entrenched himself as a cinema icon. We’re doing the Tim Burton Batman movies for week two of our ADOLESCENT POWER FANTASY theme this month so let’s reflect on the superhero movie that showed movie studios that perhaps there was something to this spandexed intellectual property. Hear us tell you all about it all over again.
