It Follows (2014)

Our first week for HALLOWEEN HUMPFEST (in which we discuss a different horror movie every weekday) is all about getting physical. Sex, Romance, Seduction and all of the consequences. Today’s discussion is a resonating sleeper hit from 2014 directed by David Robert Mitchell in which a young girl finds herself constantly pursued by something after sleeping with a boy. She’s the only one that can see it and it can look like anybody. It’s slow but constant and you don’t want to know what happens if it catches you. We’re talking about one of the best horror movies of the 2010s in David Robert Mitchell’s 2014 film “It Follows” starring Maika Monroe and Keir Gilchrist. It doesn’t matter what part of Detroit you live in. It’s coming for you and you better hook up with somebody quick before it gets you. I would go to the bottom of the ocean and fuck a starfish but thats just me. Maybe a Mermaid or a Giant Squid. Let’s see “It” try to get at one of those things. Check and mate.
